Frosty on The Levels

The morning started at -6ÂșC, but the sun shone.  These images were taken at the RSPB Ham Wall reserve in Somerset.  I believe the 22 Great Egret counted in the reed-bed around the Tor View hide that morning constituted an unofficial record for the reserve.  26 were reported at nearby Loxton's, but that figure could not be corroborated.  (This was where the 22 flew in from after they had been spooked there.)
