Hall i' th' Wood

Images from a visit to Hall i' th' Wood, Bolton.  The house now stands in a housing estate rather than a wood, but remains secluded within its footprint.  It was once the home of Samuel Crompton, who produced the Spinning Mule used in the cotton industry.
