Yr Wyddfa

In May I went to the summit of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) in North Wales.  Here are some pictures.

The summit is 1038m above mean sea-level, but people mean food so the gulls are there!  Almost every image has been photo-bombed by a Herring Gull.  In the end I gave in and photographed one — deliberately.

Turbary Woods

At Turbary Woods on the outskirts of Preston, Lancashire, there is a garden centre behind which is an Owl Sanctuary.  Here are some images taken on a visit.
