Dark mornings

Here are images taken over the course of two mornings in December.  Both mornings were at Stourhead, Wiltshire.   It was quite dark.

Here are some more images from my trip last year to NW England.  This was to prove the last photo-shoot on that trip before Storm Desmond started to upset things.  I spent the morning at the WWT reserve at Martin Mere, Lancashire.  It gradually started to rain more and more.  I called it a day when the wind started to push my lens about.  Time to quit.

Whooper Swan was my principal target-species at this site.
