This is Part 1 of 2 of images taken on an autumn visit to the WWT reserve at Slimbridge, Gloucestershire. There are two aspects of the reserve. There is the 'wild side' where wild birds are drawn by the habitat existing and created. There are the 'collections' where visitors can see examples of avian (and other) wildlife from around the world. This blog deals solely with the former. I shall post images from the rest of the reserve next week.
