This week's blog is a miscellany.
Last week I posted images from the gardens of Claude Monet at Giverny. When I left the gardens I had lunch in the village before taking photographs there.
I have driven many times between Évreux and Giverny and almost invariably have passed through a delightful little village called Cocherel. It is situated on the banks of the river Eure (after which the Department is named). This year I decided to hunt out somewhere to park there and take some photographs.
The next day I captured some images at the ferry terminal at Ouistreham, Calvados, as I waited for my ferry to set sail for Portsmouth, England.
