| Worsley Parish Church When the church was built and the original construction yard on what is now The Green was closed, the clock from the main building in the yard was installed in the church. The clock still strikes 13 times at 1.00pm as it was designed to do so the canal builders had no excuse for missing the time to resume after lunch. |
