This week I am posting the images from my Photographic Day visit to the British Wildlife Centre in Surrey. I say, "the images", but these are only some. I took over 900 and have kept a little fewer than 10%. That's not as drastic as it reads. Some of the images were taken in short continuous bursts and each burst produced perhaps the one image that I have kept.

Harvest Mouse (Micromys minutus)
These are all images of the same, female Harvest Mouse on her modelling début. This species is really tiny and the images were taken with a macro lens. The end of the lens-hood was often <15cm away from the subject.
