Hogged by Robins

Last year this time was our summer!  This year ... ...

All the images this week were taken locally over the course of three days earlier in the month.  In keeping with the current weather patterns, it's hardly surprising that the Robins have grabbed centre-stage.


















Well, the Robin is probably Britain's favourite bird.

Loose ends

This week's posting consists of images from a local walk and from a revisiting of Liberty's Raptor Centre, Ringwood, Hampshire, where I was seeking to sort out some IDs (of the hybrid falcons) and take some variations on previous shots.

The two resident Mute Swans have started on their self-imposed task of evicting the Canada Geese from the lake in readiness for breeding.  Usually they never quite succeed.
