Still in sight of England

This week I am posting images from a visit to the WWT reserve at Caerlaverock, Dumfriesshire, Scotland, early last month.

Appalling weather in Lancashire on this day drove me north into Scotland.  At the reserve, England is still in sight across the Solway Firth.  (Moan:  if anything, it was too bright there!!!  You can't win.)

The home-made soup at Caerlaverock is recommended.
