My first visit of the year to the Hawk Conservancy, Weyhill, Hampshire. The birds displaying are mostly the familiar 'faces', but they're very photogenic and always worth revisiting.

This wild resident of the reserve was occupying a tree overlooking the falcons' enclosure. Perhaps they keep away the wild raptors that might take a fancy to it.

Mid-February and it was already starting to get too warm in Hampshire to work this bird of the high tundra. (It's all relative, of course!)
